The country offers very mountanous regions, along with flat lands, beaches, and more amazon like rainforest areas. For this reason, visitors to the country can expect to find a wide variety of animals, ranging from those found in sub tropic climates, to those which are distinct and unique to the country itself. There are several species which are found only in Uruguay, and which have adapted to the changing climates, and regions which the country offers.
Some animals which can be found in the country include: even-toed ungulates in Uruguay (which are native to the country), the south american seal,

With such a wide range of climate zones, tropical and non-tropical regions, rain forrests, and flat terrain regions, the country has many distinct animals to offer to the natives, as well as to tourists, who are looking to see animals which are native to the country.
